Originally founded by Antoine Helal in Lebanon in 1965, Helal & Partners moved its head office to Abu Dhabi as early as 1968. The consultant firm has since gained a strong reputation in the United Arab Emirates for the excellence of its work. The firm composed of architects and engineers has completed work in a wide array of sectors including urban development, office high-rise buildings, residential architecture (apartment high-rise towers, residential compounds, palaces, private and commercial villas), government and institutional architecture as well as interior design.
Following a rigorous methodology based on expertise and design coordination that permits the control of every phase from design to construction, the approach of the firm has enabled it to properly and successfully complete work on over 300 projects over its 45 years run, totaling a budget of over 2 billion Dhs.
Helal & Partners key operating principle is teamwork and this is carried out by bringing people to work together. The span of services offered extend from the front-end architectural and engineering to commissioning of the facilities including planning, feasibility and impact studies, technical design and project construction management and supervision.
At all times during the design and construction process, coordination takes place between the different sections permiting to avoid conflics on site and save time and money. Furthermore, a mojor place is left to the Client in the process, as the team of architects and engineers take all the necessary time to meet with the Client, have constructive discussion of what is needed and what are the financial limitations, an adequate design is developed in order to answer his needs in the best of ways from the initial sketches to the construction site.
